It is highly suitable for structure solutions of nano-crystalline and beam sensitive
inorganic materials with high structural complexity like charoite having more than
300 atoms in the unit cell. The ADT approach allows a significant acceleration of
structure solution leading to the ability to access hot-topic structures in an
acceptable time scale. In comparison with single crystal X-ray data collection and
analysis, electron diffraction experiments are now achievable on similar time
scales.
